Jeff & Hilary | Raleigh LDS Temple Wedding Photographer

I met Hilary when she moved to NC and we instantly became friends. In fact, within less than a year she was one of my bridesmaids! Now she's getting married and I couldn't be happier for her.

She and Jeff met in Durham and both graduated from Duke so it was very fitting that we did their engagement photos on Duke's campus and in downtown Durham.
I was a little worried about the shoot (I hope you guys couldn't tell!) because in an e-mail I got from Hilary she said, "We don't really like the pictures of couples looking at each other and in weird embraces. Ha."

I LOVE when couples look at each other in photos (in non-awkward ways) and I wasn't quite sure what she meant by weird embraces, so I wasn't entirely sure what they wanted:/ Luckily when we got together things just clicked and the camera loved them both. Hilary even let me get some shots of them looking at each other, with a little help from Jeff pulling her forehead to his: Jeff & Hil7 and I'm so glad she let me, because I think they look awesome!  They just capture so much emotion:) These two totally worked the camera and their bridal shoot in a few weeks is going to be epic! Charles & Jeasun | Durham Engagement & Wedding Photographer

I met Charles back when Carleton and I were dating, he was (and still is) one of Carleton's best friends from law school. When Charles introduced us to Jeasun a year and a half ago, we were so thrilled to see Charles so happy with a girl who was obviously just as smitten with him as he was with her. Now they're getting married and I couldn't be happier to be a part of their wedding! We were lucky the weather held out for us Saturday night, this was our second attempt at meeting for pictures. Since Charles lives in Texas we only have so many opportunities for shoots. The forecast was calling for rain and had rained just a couple hours before we started shooting, it even sprinkled during a few minutes of our shoot but all the storms held off until we made it safely home. Thank goodness! Jeasun and Charles have loved visiting Duke Gardens and Alexan Pool since they started dating so we incorporated both into their engagement session. Charles and Jeasun hadn't met Tinley yet, and Carleton is always looking for an excuse to see his buddy;) DSC_5651 4 DSC_5382 DSC_5654 DSC_5438 DSC_5443 3 DSC_5416 DSC_5538 DSC_5513 2 DSC_5608 DSC_5571 DSC_5598 5 DSC_5682 1 DSC_5701_1
Thank you both for trusting me to capture this special time in your life! I hope you enjoy these pictures and we can't wait for your wedding!
