I was excited when I got the email asking me to take this family's pictures for multiple reasons. First, my husband and Taylor went to law school together and we haven't seen them since graduation (which was right after their baby was born) so we miss them! And two, they're beautiful and fun to be around! Their little man, was a lot more interested in the ducks, sticks, and throwing things in the water, but we still got a handful of pictures where he's looking at me and smiling! It was great to see you guys, I hope you love your pictures!

Duke Gardens is not only one of my favorite places to shoot but its special to them because Taylor is in law school at Duke!

I'm pretty sure this is the largest post I've ever done, but I felt like there was so much variety in the shots and there are so many photogenic people in this family, that I had to share a few more than I normally do!

I love the colors they chose, their spunky attitudes, their playfulness in between (and at times during) shots, and their incredible eyes-- in case you couldn't tell-- this was a really fun bunch to photograph!

The Halls are such a sweet, kind family whose love and respect for each other is very apparent. Unfortunately, the sun was SUPER bright that morning, after all, it was 10am. Despite the sun, we were able to find a few shady places, and captured the beautiful fall colors! Thank you for being so fun to and easy to work with!
