Blake & Rachel Wedding | Greensboro NC Wedding Photographer

All week I was watching the weather forecast and cringing at the rain it was predicting on Rachel & Blake's big day. Even hours before the reception it was still calling for rain but when the time came, it couldn't have been more beautiful. The atmosphere, the emotion, the weather, the new beautiful family were all perfect. I'm so happy for Rachel and Blake and this new adventure they are beginning! The decorations on this cake were incredible (I didn't try any, but it looked delicious, too!) The pretty scroll work is actually a language... Gallifreyan - from Doctor Who. Rachel's son, Hyrum looked up how to write everyone's names so all ten people in their family would be represented. Rachel is a huge Doctor Who fan so it was AWESOME. Brian & Gabbi | Greensboro Wedding Photographer

Gabbi, Brian, and I ventured out in the freezing cold weather through a nice snow storm to snag some engagement pictures in the beautiful snow:) 

Although we had freezing temperatures, these two love birds were heating things up...and cracking me up with some of the misunderstood posing :) 

Poor Gabbi had her hair done perfectly when we met up, and the snow was coming down so quickly that it was soaked within minutes:/  Luckily, she can pull that look off and still looked totally gorgeous! mistletoe anyone? :) I hope y'all like your pictures, you guys are darling.

Note to self: rain boots do not protect against ANY cold. AT. ALL.

Hilary Bridals | Summerfield Wedding Photographer

Hilary wanted to go somewhere different for her bridal portraits so we went to Summerfield Park.  I've been there several times taking my munchkin to the playground and going for walks with other moms, but never shot there.  Although it started sprinkling when she arrived, we were able to take pictures until there was no more light and got everything we needed.  Hilary will be such a gorgeous bride in less than two short months!!
